This is a single-shot version of the M16 A1 Airsoft rifles, so popular in the military and in our imaginations. In other words, this is a very realistic copy from a visual standpoint. However, when push comes to shove, that's where the similarities end.
This is representative of the low-end of Tokyo Marui's catalog. It's beautiful, yes; and for the price of $175, you'll never see another M16 in its price range. Is that enough to recommend it? Only if you're broke.
The Low-End of M16 A1 Airsoft Rifles
I'm sorry. I'm an M16 freak. These are amongst my favorite weapons. So I can't help but look at this particular model as anything but a disappointment.
Without the capacity for semi-automatic fire, not to mention the full-auto that is my god-given right, this is simply an incredibly attractive toy gun. Nothing more, and nothing less, than that can be said. If you want M16 A1 Airsoft rifles, do yourself a favor and spring for the AEG.
